The % yield was 96%. The massing of aluminum was forgotten but when another mo was massed and the numbers were worked out, it was shown that there was an excess of aluminum and that the CuCl2.2H2O was the limiting reagent.Aspect 2 Evaluate There were .029g of Cu precipitate less than expected. It is likely that some of the copper went into the Erlenmeyer or was stuck on the funnel. Despite utter(a) rinsing of the filter paper, some of the precipitate got through the filter paper and into the Erlenmeyer.Aspect 3 Improving Experimental Design Instead of one piece of filter paper, two pieces should be used. This would lead to less precipitate going into the Erlenmeyer. Also, the water in the Erlenmeyer could be re-filtered.

Any specific study system aims to support operations, make intercoursement and decision making. In a broad sense, the marches is used to refer not only to the selective information and communication technology (ICT) that an organization uses, but overly to the way in which people interact with this technology in support of business processes. Some authors make a clear distinction between information systems, computer systems, and business processes. Information systems typic aloney allow an ICT component but are not purely concerned with ICT, focusing instead on the end use of information technology. Information systems are as well different from business processes. Information systems help to control the performance of business processes.Alter argues for advantages of viewing an information system as a special typesetters case of work system. A work system is a system in which humans and/or machines perform work (processes and activities) using resources to produce specific products and/or services for customers. As such, information systems inter-relate with data systems on the one make it and activity systems on the other. An information system is a form of communication system in which data represent and are processed as a form of social memory. An information system sens also be considered a semi-formal language which supports human decision making and action.NEED OFINFORMATION arrangingInformation systems help provide structure and bother to information. In addition employees are free to work on other important tasks that require human thinking. The time computer information systems frees up also gives both management and theirstaffs the ability to have time to brainstorm and come up with new and innovative ideas since the burden of some of the everyday tasks are lifted. little Redundancy and Better Data integrityComputer information systems can be programmed to have amazing ability to eliminate duplicates, point out inconsistencies and combine data together to make it more manageable. This heightens the ability for higher degrees of accuracy and efficiency. Data integrity means the data is more reliable due to the capabilities of automation.Inputting data into information systems where it can be sorted, registerd and processed is highly efficient. Long gone are the days of filing cabinets, missing papers, misfiled documents and other important details. If information is needed, all it takes is a few clicks of the mouse or a few works typed in and all the information immediately pops right up.Instead of having separated computer systems for different parts of a business, modern information systems allow systems to be streamlined. No longer do different staff members have to input and file the same information for their own purposes and needs. Instead data goes into one central place and IT personnel set up user privileges which are typically on a need to know basis and employees can access which areas of the information system they need to perform their jobs.Initially investing in computer information systems is a large investment, but when strategically planned through proper system analysis, the investment in information systems can pay off handsomely over the long term. The key is to think of the organizations mission, objectives and overall busine ss plan and ensure the implemented information system meets these goals. With proper planning a confederacy can simultaneously maximize profit while decreasing overhead costs. The possibilities of using information systems in business are endless. Developing Healthcare in Third World Countries
Developing Healthc atomic number 18 in Third World CountriesGood Health charge is central for many reasons, longer living for hotshot. However, to a greater utmost or less people who live in third world countries, such as Haiti, who capture little to no access to such benefits. Some sections of the population collapse additional barriers to overcome. These groups include misfortunate women, young people and other socially disadvantaged groups such as drug users, sex workers and people with disabilities. The child deathrate rates that are present in a developing country such as Haiti is a defecate that can spread and affect us here in the United Sates in ways such as illnesss that contaminate ones who fly and frequently travel to the U.S. Not saying that we must motor any other country because they may contaminate us, we just have to focus on helping them out, to find a way to better their healthcare, so outbreaks do not happen and conk less often. With all the most expens ive medical technology money can buy, the United States performs the most important health procedures. But as this society we all live in modernizes we find that other places, like Haiti, who have been through tough time, are ignored. It I known that if a country has a high level of privation, their citizens tend to be poor, and the poor tend to have less access to health serve. overlook of financial resources can create barriers when having to access services. When health care is needed but is delayed or not obtained, peoples health worsens, which in turn leads to lost income and higher health care costs, both of which contribute to poverty. These deprivations lead to bad health that are common in developing countries, and those who are in poverty tend to be more affected by it. There are many questions that concern the mechanisms of financing health services and the affordability for the poor have been one of the most controversial topics concerning access to health services in developing countries.Child mortality is one of the most difficult things in the world to discuss. The death of any child is a thought many parents would never want to bear. It is depressing that millions of children die yearly and usually from preventable things, than in an industrialized country such as the United Sates, could have prevented in a heartbeat. In third world countries, however, their poverty and lack of access to health care cause many more deaths than there would be in a more industrialized country. The 2010 maternal mortality rate per 100,000 births for Haiti is 300. The under 5 mortality rate, per 1,000 births is 89. This is compared to be such an ample number compared to the United States statistics that place the child and newborn mortality rates at 6 infant deaths per 1,000 births. (Health, IMA World, 2010) The highest share of death occurs after birth and before the fifth year of life. During the neonatal period, 75 percent of deaths occur during the first we ek of life. The remainders of neonatal deaths occur inside the first hour after birth. Deaths within the first month can often be attributed to poor nutrition, poor prenatal care, or disease. (Health, IMA World, 2010) Many of the deaths that occur in the first hours of life are due to poor help in delivering or poor prenatal nutrition.Children who are born into a poverty life are significantly more at risk of malnourishment and dying before the age of five. Children from developing countries are ten times more likely to die before the age of five than those from more industrialized nations. This is because children from developing nations are much more likely to lack a experienced birth attendee and the medicine and care they must obtain if they were to have complication during labor and birth. From longstanding to rising problems, environmental factors are a solvent cause of a significant burden of death, disease and disability particularly in developing countries. A significant proportion of that overall environmental disease burden can be attributed to relatively few key areas of risk. These include unsanitary water, sanitisation vector-borne diseases poor environment and indoor air quality and spherical environmental change.Human health and environmental health are intimately intertwined. The existence of clean air, clean water, a stable climate, thriving wildlife, and well-managed natural resources determines the extent to which people can enjoy their basic rights to life, health, food, housing, livelihood, and culture. (Gopalan, 2002) Little things such as these are being ignored and not taken into consideration. Human health and environmental sanitation and wellness are essential for life of any kind to be sustainable. As well as health requirements sanitation is another problem that affects these countries that lack healthcare. Deficient sanitation systems, poor nutrition, and inadequate health services have pushed Haiti to the bottom of the World Banks rankings of health indicators. (Public Health Issues and Priorities for the Haiti Earthquake) According to the United Nations World Food Programme, 80% of Haitis population lives in poverty. Consequently, malnutrition is one of the significant problems. The trouble in Haitis health care system, such as those listed above, is structural violence. Structural violence refers to organized ways in which social structures harm or otherwise disadvantage individuals. Haiti, one of many poor countries on the globe, demonstrates social arrangements and structural violence that put its individuals in higher health risks. Due to reasons such as racism, pollution, poor housing, poverty, and overall social inequality, structural violence limits residents of Haiti from proper clinical medicine. Many of these problems have surfaced after the cataclysmic earthquake of 2011. Addressing these obstacles go forth effectively reduce structural violence, and it will be likely that health care impr ovements in Haiti, which are much needed, be exceeded.IMA World Health, a specialist in providing essential healthcare services and medical supplies around the world, is a nonprofit, faith-based organization working to restore health, hope and dignity to those most in need. They are the major partitioningners in running the organization. And also they can be very crucial to acquit the profit of the organization. They allow besot the profit or loss both energise to take in to consideration by the stakeholders. There are few stakeholders we can break in the business as follows.CustomerThis is the most considerable stakeholder for any organization in the world. And without these customers on that point is no organization who can survive with. The customers are directly contributing to the profit and the turnover of the organization. Tesco has a unique blend of customers who can be opposite from any other people buying ordinary goods. Tesco is the lowest outlay holder in any part of the UK. So the customer base also is solid for the Tesco.EmployeesThis stakeholder category is the back born of any organization in the world. Without employee satisfaction the organization is useless of making profit. And also we have to make the strategies to uplift the employees quality of life. And there they have to set the directions by consideration the employees as well. Tesco is dealing with the retail market and the function also related with people. So the employees are the most important factor on this regard. Tesco is having 586 retail shops all around in Great Britain. So the Employees factor is the most valuable factor for the Tesco PLC .ShareholdersTesco is there because of the Shareholders. They have the profit share and also the loss share as well.CompetitorsFood and no food retail industry is one of the biggest industries having in now days. So the complexity of the industry makes more competitors. We can have few competitors in domestic market like ASDA, Sainsbury, and Waitrose. And also the biggest international competitor for the Tesco is the Wall-Mart. So Tesco has more competitive advantages by the others. The UK GovernmentIn every successful and giant organization have any(prenominal) political influence. They well-nightimes have many a(prenominal) policies over the firms. So this depart make the loss in the organizations especially the organizations have more international relations as well as domestic powerful penetration.Review the exist Business plans and Strategies of Tesco PLC2.1 Current Position/ Strengths and WeaknessesThe Tesco has many up and down times in their history. We can identify some important factors that exit reflect the Tescos diachronic pathway to the success. And these are the main information that will shew the todays position of Tescos.Very low population capacity of the OrganizationThe inflation of the food price is so much lowWell established and newly opened and fully structured supermarkets all over the country. It is so much hard to get the planning permissions for large GreenfieldsThree main well strong and powerful Competitors operating in the domestic marketThere are new terminal places for all the other well established organizations in the industrySo the existing position is as above in the beginning. But the new locating or the position is the other side of the above facts and information.Soothe main strengths now is as follows,High capacity of customer base and the emplo yee base with comparison the othersThe inflation has grown up the food price and the Tesco gets the advantage of that to grow themselvesFully structured and well established 586 retail stores under the capacity of TescoThey have so many Greenfields other than any other competitor. The Tesco is the No. 1 brand in the UK domestic market. And other competitors may have nothing to give tongue to on Tesco and they are sometimes unable to compete with Tesco. The Tesco has a large capacity and the power to handle the market structure some times.Tesco has the large government issue of stores and the well planned spaces in the food and non food industry in UKWe can identify some of the weaknesses in the Tesco as follows,Lack of internal communicating Present state is not communicated to the others.Promotion Process incomplete tension may create for the uniform and non uniform workers.Lack of physical fitness for the employees overt education is well needed and the attitudinal change i s required.Need diversity training on sensitivity and all must have leadership development and the function2.2 Current business PlansThe business plan for the Tesco is very simple and the plan is assumption by the outcome oriented. So the business plan we can identify the strategic areas. The directional plans subcategories can be taken in to the business plan. The main focus or the objective is to maximise the sales of the Tesco. So to crumple the situation on this regard we have chosen the three main category that the Tesco is used to have in the pats.We can say the three areas that Tesco has followed is given below,Spend more to time and more money to the existing customers and the existing stores.Identify new customers in new channelsNewly introduced geographies developmentBut the growth strategies we explain in the above are having some problems and the profitable matters are not supported by the strategies used in the above tactics. So we have to switch the new strategic bus iness plan to penetrate the market deeper. So they have thought the existing customers more and make some strategic business plan according to that. Now they have only focuses on the existing customers, like this,Existing Customers Product ServiceFor the product they have made it two different parts that are segmented private labels and the expanded no-foods, and the services they have switch financial and telecommunication. These are the newly introduced services that Tesco Currently engaged in.Develop Options for Strategic Planning for Tesco PLC3.1 Strategic Options for TescoAs we all know the Tesco is the worlds 3rd largest retail business organization. So the organization has many strategic resources that they have to take in to consideration. Especially the financial side of the company they have to think many strategic options that will suite for the organization. We can identify there are some of the strategic options that Tesco may have and the important thing is that Tesco might have options that they can do anything they want just because they have the reputation and he monetary power. The high capacity of customer base is the biggest advantage they have right at the movement. Any way they may have following options if they want to switch in to any of the following options.Flexibility option we can magnitude the production or the manufacturing in to tractile operations. We can use the existing production and the other stuff in to flexible service and production. This will enhance the net present value of the organization. This can be done by the happening of massive fluctuations in the environmental changes.Growth Option we need to have a self evaluation and supervise part if we want to find out there are any possibility that we can switch in to the growth option. Tesco need experience some of the stores in the UK although they have more than 1000 stores in the domestic market and the share of 33% of the total market they might need some of thei r businesses growth. quantify Option although the Tesco has giant improvements in their business they have some implementations to be commence in the time of the growth. So they may use the tactics that they will suddenly go in to some kind of projects that they will get more benefits. So they may use the option of going immediate projects by time to time.3.2 Future strategic options and the suitable structure for all the stakeholdersWe can identify these two topics in one angle. The stakeholders are the most important of any business as we mention in the above. So we can use the most suitable structures that we can make the strategic options correctly. We can use the determine that will give us the strategic option for all the stakeholders including.Market development this is the main strategic option they have on their hands. And this can be very crucial for all the stakeholders as well. The strategy Tesco use for market development is the joint development and the strategic all iance. Tesco is used t make alliances with the Asian international businesses. This will enhance the business strength of Tesco and it will make more profit share for the stakeholders as well. The other market development option they have is to switch in to the Latin American retail market, hey have already somewhat expanded this in to there.Product development this is the most important title to be discussed with the case of Tesco. They have the option of Diversification strategy. They have to use this strategy that they will get the best sales forever. And all the stakeholders will get the benefits and the employees will also have the chance to be innovative and more productive.Develop a Strategic Plan for the OrganizationBefore maturation the strategic plan for the organization of Tesco we have to consider the futurity goals that Tesco has. Any way the Tesco has the vision of be the global best retailer, it is easier for us to get an intellection of how they need to be strat egize. So there for we can have the following strategic planning steps that will suite for the organization.Review and develop the vision and the mission of the Tesco,We need to rethink the mission of the organization that how we can offer the best service and grab the higher part of the market share. To what extent do the detective fiction stories looked at imitate Essay
To what extent do the detective fiction stories looked at imitate The Murders in the sorrowfulness Morgue in foothold of the character and the creation of tension?Question To what extent do the detective fiction stories looked atimitate The Murders in the Rue Morgue in terms of the character andthe creation of tension? This essay will explain, discuss and examine the effects of EdgarAllen Poes The Murders in the Rue Morgue had on other authorswriting detective stories during the nineteenth century. The Murders in theRue Morgue was a new kind of story and Edgar Allen Poe had manyauthors imitate him. Take Arthur Conan Doyles detective, SherlockHolmes, for example. Holmes quickly became one of the around famousdetectives of that duration and his stories were, and still are, loved allaround the world. But not forgetting all of the other detectivewriters of that time too.To an extent, most detective stories of the 19th century direct copiedthe original aspects of Poes The Murders in t he Rue Morgue. Thisessay will examine Poes influence on his successors. The Murders in the Rue Morgue was one of the first detective storiesever written. Because of this, Edgar Allen Poe has wane a trend forother detective writers to follow. Poe has used a number different ofpoints in his story to create suspense and tension, which can be launch in other detective stories of that time. For example, in Dorothy L. Sayers writing about The Murders in theRue Morgue, she writes that The story features a combination ofthree typical motifs. The wrongly suspect man . . . . the sealeddeath chamber and the solution by unexpected means. These examplescan all be found in most of Arthur Conan Doyles Sherlock Holme... ...man whowas murdered, Cadogen West, had taken the papers. In conclusion to this essay, we can see that throughout the storiesthat we have read, how often the writers have imitated Poes originalsix points. We can see that the writers have imitated the classic sixpoints preferably w ell. Some of the stories might not contain all of thesix points, but the points they do contain have all added to thecreation of suspense and tension in the mind of the reader. All of thewriters we have looked at, in one way or another, have all tried, andsuccessfully incorporated the basic character of Dupin into their own.It is evident that the most successful story that we have read has tobe The Problem of Dressing Room A. It has included all of theclassic six points that Sayers mentioned about The Murders in the RueMorgue and the outr character of the detective.

Its Time for Voluntary Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide :: Euthanasia Physician Assisted Suicide
America Needs Voluntary Euthanasia There are at least two forms of suicide. One is emotional suicide, or irrational self-murder in all of it complexities and sadness. let me emphasis at once that my view of this tragic form of self-destruction is the same as that of the suicide intervention movement and the ride out of society, which is to prevent it wherever possible. I do not support any form of suicide for mental health or emotional reasons. But I do say that there is a second form of suicide -- justifiable suicide, that is, rational and planned self-deliverance from a painful and hopeless disease which pull up stakes shortly end in death. I dont think the word suicide sits well in this context but we are stuck with it. Many have tried to infer the term self-deliverance but it is an uphill battle because the news media is in love with the words assisted suicide. Also, we have to face the fact that the law calls all forms of self-destruction suicide. Let me point ou t here for those who might not know it that suicide is no longer a crime anywhere in the English-speaking world. (It use to be, and was punishable by giving all the dead soulfulnesss money and goods to the government.) Attempted suicide is no longer a crime, although under health laws a person can in most states be forcibly placed in a psychiatric hospital for three days for evaluation. But giving care in suicide remains a crime, except in the Netherlands in recent times under certain conditions, and it has never been a crime in Switzerland, Germany, Norway and Uruguay. The rest of the world punishes assist in suicide for both the mentally ill and the terminally ill, although the state of Oregon recently (Nov. l994) passed by ballot measuring rod 16 a limited physician-assisted suicide law. At present (Feb. l995) this is held up in the law courts. Even if a hopelessly ill person is requesting assistance in dying for the most compassionate reasons, and the helper is a cting from the most noble of motives, it remains a crime in the Anglo-American world. Punishments range from fines to fourteen age in prison. It is this catch- all prohibition which I and others wish to change.
